BREEDING
Whilst we are a business, it is important to us that the resulting offspring are going to be what the mare owner requires.  For this reason we have no issues with people visiting and being under no pressure to decide whether our boys are a good fit for their mares.  Good quality offspring that will achieve its intended purpose is what we are all aiming for.

We don't have a set criteria for what breed/type of mares we will cover.  As long as they are healthy enough to carry a foal and as mentioned we feel that the resulting foal will be what is wanted.  An example of where we would suggest that it is not a good idea to breed is when the requirement is for a large horse for a tall teenager but the mare they intend to use is their children's outgrown small pony.  Whilst the mares regulate the size of the foal during gestation so health issues should not arise, it is unlikely that the resulting foal will reach the size required and therefore will not be fit for the intended purpose.
